Wow, do we have a stacked week of things to do in the Riverina!

Most notably, the Festival of W is wrapping up, meaning you only have this weekend to get down to the Wollundry Lagoon and Civic Precinct to see the lights, enjoy the food and maybe even book an ice-skating session.

The Civic Precinct isn’t the only busy Wagga hub this weekend. The Botanic Gardens is hosting a number of fun activities during the final week of the school holidays with a meet and greet with the zoo animals and a LEGO ‘minifig’ hunt at the Museum of the Riverina.

Ever wanted to break a record? Head to the Wollundry Lagoon on Saturday morning to recreate the iconic Kate Bush music video of Wuthering Heights, or if you’d rather watch a gig than be in one, Skeggs launches its new single at Tilly’s on Saturday night.

Surrounding towns also have plenty on, with Illabo hosting the inaugural Kart Feature Day on Sunday and Gundagai’s NAIDOC Ball will take place this Saturday.

There are plenty of new movies to see this week as well but perhaps none bigger than The Great Emu War at the CSU Playhouse on Saturday night.

A Quiet Place: Day One, Maxxxine, Fly Me to the Moon and The Bikeriders also feature.
