Live music and outdoor activities headline a big week of things to do in the Riverina.

Troy Cassar-Daley returns to Wagga for his first tour since 2019 with his 12th studio album “Between the Fires”. The Curious Rabbit is hosting its always popular Curious Fest V10 and the Australian Army Band Kapooka hits the Civic Theatre for its free concert.

With winter slowly coming to an end, more outdoor activities are beginning to resurface with the Willans Hill Miniature Railway opening to the public on Sunday and the Demonstration Gardens trading on Saturday.

Those looking to get physical have the chance to roll on down to the Roller Disco at Bolton Park, while people looking for a bit of adventure will be able to enjoy the Waggaroo’s orienteering monthly get-together at Livingstone National Park.

The end of August is providing some absolute gems in the movie department. First is the movie adaptation of one of the most popular books of the decade so far in It Ends With Us, starring Blake Lively. Meanwhile, my pick for the week Alien: Romulus, sees the classic horror movie franchise go back to its roots with a film based in between the original two movies.
