Man taken to Griffith Base Hospital after car crash on Yambil Street

A man has been taken to Griffith Base Hospital after a two-car collision on Tuesday afternoon (2 December).

NSW Ambulance crews were called to Yambil Street at around 5:30 pm after reports of the accident.

According to a NSW Ambulance spokesman, a man believed to be in his 40s was found trapped in his car. When freed, he was transferred to Griffith Base Hospital. He was suffering from head, chest and shoulder injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was not seriously injured.
