A man is in a Canberra hospital with serious injuries after reports of an incident at a Gundagai motel on Tuesday (10 October).
Emergency services were called to a motel on Sheridan Street in Gundagai about 8 am after a man was found injured.
Officers from Riverina Police District attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics and located a 62-year-old man with serious injuries.
He was treated on scene before being taken to Canberra Hospital by helicopter in a serious but stable condition.
A crime scene was established, and an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident and how the man came to be injured.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
