A 43-year-old man has died after a police pursuit in Narrandera ended when a car crashed into a truck, triggering an independent review into the incident.
Police say officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District were conducting patrols on Pinehill Road about 7.30pm on Friday when they attempted to stop a black sedan allegedly displaying cancelled registration.

He later died in hospital.
A crime scene has been established and a critical incident investigation is now underway.
The investigation will be led by a Critical Incident Team from Murray River Police District, which will examine the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and crash.
