Man arrested after cannabis, ecstasy and knuckle-duster allegedly found in Collina home

A man will face court in February after police allegedly found illegal items and substances at a home in the Griffith suburb of Collina.

On Wednesday last week (7 January), officers attached to the Murrumbidgee Police District Proactive Crime Team, executed a search warrant at an address in Dal Broi Street.

A systematic search of the premises was conducted, in which police allegedly located and seized 12 grams of cannabis, 15 grams of methylamphetamine, 2.7 grams of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy), a conducted electrical weapon, knuckle-duster and $650 in Australian currency believed to be the proceeds of crime.

A 39-year-old male was arrested and charged with 10 offences. He was refused bail by police.

The matter is listed before Griffith Local Court on 25 February.
