Three men suffered multiple injuries when their sedan crashed in the Riverina on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Byrnes Road, Harefield – between Junee and Wagga Wagga – about 3 pm Monday (3 November), when an older-model white Toyota sedan left the road and rolled.
A 42-year-old man travelling in the back seat has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital, where he is reported to be in a critical condition, suffering multiple injuries.
The driver, aged 41, and his front-seat passenger, aged 25, were taken by road ambulance to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Police have been told they will be airlifted to Sydney hospital tonight for further treatment.
They are both reported to be in a serious condition.
Officers from Riverina Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the crash, with the assistance of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
