A 30-year-old man has fronted court after police allegedly seized 44 kilograms of cannabis following a vehicle collision with a kangaroo on Sturt Highway.
Omar Akech faced Griffith Local Court on Monday (30 September) charged with commercial drug supply and had his bail formally refused by Magistrate Pauline Wright.
Police said Murrumbidgee Police District officers were called to the Sturt Highway, about 25 km west of Darlington Point, at about 1 pm last Friday (27 September), after a car hit a kangaroo.
