There’s a new offering on the horizon for over-55s in Junee, promising a calm, connected retirement in the country.

Set among rolling fields in the north-west of town, Junee Lifestyle Village presents 51 private villas in a broad range of sizes and styles, each thoughtfully designed for long-term ease of living.

But this isn’t your typical retirement community. It’s a prime opportunity for urban treechangers to enjoy rural life without the pressure of a large block.

The village also addresses a lack of retirement options for locals.

“Junee residents have seen the need for an over-55s neighbourhood for some time,” sales manager Susan Pottie says.

“They don’t want to move to the city to retire. They want to stay in the town they love, close to friends and family.”

Riverina developers Ladex Construction Group kicked off the project with a series of meetings to engage the community’s ideas and feedback.

“We spoke in depth about how the village should be run, including what features the villas would have,” Susan says.

“Importantly, the village is based on community titles whereby each resident owns their land and villa.”

Junee Lifestyle Village presents eight distinct, homely villa designs to choose from.

Every villa features large, sunny open-plan living spaces and high-end modern finishes. Low-maintenance gardens and shady alfrescos are perfect for entertainers.

Accessible spaces promote independence and comfort, while secure gated entry offers peace of mind without isolating residents from the town they call home.

A central community centre is planned for construction when the village reaches 50 per cent occupancy, so there’ll be plenty of social activities to get involved in. Think dinners, lunches, group trips to the golf club or aquatics centre, and community events like trivia and happy hour.

Junee Lifestyle Village’s ethos is based on the belief that retirement should feel calm, secure, and fulfilling. The team has committed to a transparent ownership model with no exit fees and a lower average sale price than other offerings.

“Financial security, flexibility, and fairness are very important in a small town like Junee,” Susan says.

“Every resident in our village deserves the privacy and freedom of owning their home and the land it’s on.”

Development has been a lengthy process so far, delayed in no small part by the Covid-19 pandemic, but Susan is excited to announce Junee Lifestyle Village’s display home is open and villas are selling now.

“Junee enjoys an unhurried atmosphere centred on relaxed, connected living,” she says.

“We’re about half an hour from Wagga, but well-equipped with supermarkets, retail, cafés, clubs, urban wetlands, and essential services to boot.

“We can’t wait to see Juneee Lifestyle Village grow, fuelled by lots of friendly faces and all the amenities you need close by.”

Junee Lifestyle Village is located in the north-west of Junee off Park Lane, next to Burns Park Soccer Fields. For more information, contact Susan Pottie on 0460 586 335.
