Collision between car and mobile scooter leaves man injured outside Griffith courthouse

Two ambulances rushed to a stretch of Banna Avenue outside the Griffith courthouse on Wednesday (1 October) after reports of an accident.

“At 12:15 pm, paramedics were called to an accident between a mobile scooter and a car on Banna Avenue,” A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.

Paramedics treated the man on the scooter for hip and arm injuries and he was immediately taken to Griffith Base Hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the car was not injured.

The road was temporarily closed but reopened by 4 pm.
