Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Griffith area.
Janet Mu Misa, aged 17, was last seen at a home on Doherty Place, Griffith, about 10 pm on Monday (16 October).
Unable to be located, family reported her missing to officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District on Thursday (26 October).
Police hold serious concerns for Janet’s welfare.
Janet is described as being of Maori/Pacific Islander appearance, medium build, approximately 150 cm tall, with long black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information in relation to Janet’s whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
