Police are asking for help to find a boy missing from the Riverina.

Alikai Kennedy, 11, was last seen at Lavington at about 8:30 pm on Friday, 23 August.

When he could not be located or contacted, he was reported missing last Thursday (29 August). Murray River Police District officers commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Alikai’s welfare due to his young age.

Alikai is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, thin build, 145 cm and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue beanie, black hooded jumper and grey shorts.

Alikai is known to frequent the Lavington and Albury areas.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
