Australian boy band Human Nature have announced they will do two shows in Wagga and two shows in Albury in March 2026.
Originally formed in high school under the name The 4Trax, the group has enjoyed a prolific career since signing with Sony Music over two decades ago.
Lead singer Andrew Tierney, who was 15 when the group formed in 1989, is now 51.
A major turning point in their career came with the release of the album Reach Out in 2005, a tribute to Motown legends such as Smokey Robinson, The Supremes, The Temptations, and Stevie Wonder.
Human Nature are already touring regional Australia on a Motown 20th anniversary tour (MTWN 20) later this year and are scheduled to play at the Griffith Regional Theatre on Thursday 16 October.
Griffith businesswoman and lifelong Human Nature fan Jacinda Violi recommends going to the concerts.
“Six years ago I had the opportunity to see them in Las Vegas, but we chose to see Robbie Williams instead,” she said.
“But I’m really glad I got the chance to see them at Griffith Regional Theatre in 2021, they were fabulous and the venue was perfect for them.”
The 2026 southern tour will kick off with a return to one of their favourite venues in Australia – the Sydney State Theatre – before they then go to a number of regional areas.
“We were absolutely blown away by the reaction to our MTWN20 shows – the excitement of the audiences and the sheer fun of celebrating the 20th anniversary of our Motown journey was just incredible,” Human Nature’s Phil Burton said.
“To have the chance to take the show to even more of our awesome fans is a dream come true, and we can’t wait to jump back in the van and travel to even more places to continue the party with you all.”
Audiences will also get to see the Tierney brothers – Mike and Andrew – one half of Human Nature, perform tracks from their debut album Soundtrack Of My Life.
“Described as ‘unapologetically pop’, the brothers continue their musical careers with a feel-good repertoire of infectious pop music that fans are sure to embrace,” a press statement said.
Human Nature will perform at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre on Tuesday 3 March and Wednesday 4 March and at the Albury Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 24 March and Wednesday 25 March. Tickets and a full list of tour dates are available on the Human Nature Live website.
