A teacher has been charged over a sexual touching incident in the Riverina earlier this year.
Detectives from the Griffith Child Abuse Squad commenced an investigation regarding the alleged actions of a male high school teacher on Thursday, 27 March 2025.
Following inquiries, at about 8:30 am Friday (9 May), a search warrant was executed at a home in Leeton and a 43-year-old man was arrested.
He was taken to Leeton Police Station and charged with intentionally sexually touching child over 10 and under 16 years.
The man was given conditional bail and will appear before Leeton Local Court on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.
