Dean Cluney pleads not guilty to charges of assault and stalking in Griffith court

Griffith man Dean Jason Cluney has pleaded not guilty to charges of stalking and common assault.

The 34-year-old appeared in Griffith Local Court on Wednesday (7 May) for an initial court appearance in relation to his alleged offences. However, his matter was adjourned by Magistrate Pauline Wright.

According to court documents, he was charged with intimidating a man with the intention of causing him physical fear or mental harm, and with assaulting that same man at a residence in Darlington Point on 18 February 2025.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges.

His case will be heard before the court at a rescheduled hearing on 11 June.
