Police begin probe after pedestrian hit by motorcycle in Narrandera

A police investigation is underway after a pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle in the Riverina at the weekend.

Just after 8 pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to River Street, Narrandera, following reports a 48-year-old man had been hit by a motorcycle.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police were told the rider left the scene before the officers arrived.

Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District established a crime scene and the Crash Investigation Unit launched an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information or dashcam footage about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
