Aircraft Showcase April

The Temora Aviation Museum’s April 2025 Aircraft Showcase will feature all serviceable aircraft from the RAAF 100 SQN Historic Flight Collection at the museum, which includes the Supermarine Spitfires, Cessna O-2A, Lockheed Hudson, Wirraway, Tiger Moth, Ryan STM S2, and many more visiting warbirds. At Temora, you can get closer to the action as you witness a themed selection of Australia’s ex-military flying history come alive.

Demonstration Gardens – Vegetable Swap and Buy

When: Saturday 12 April, 9 am – noon
Where: Corner Shaw and Albury streets, Wagga
Cost: Free entry.

Come to the Demonstration Gardens, bring fruit or vegetables to swap, or purchase fresh vegetables from the community garden. All proceeds go to the community gardens. Held every Saturday morning, weather permitting, it is a great way to support the local community.

Albury Wodonga Farmers Market

When: Saturday 12 April, 8 am to noon
Where: Gateway Village, Wodonga – Lincoln Causeway
Cost: Various.

Head to the Albury Wodonga Farmers Market to get your hands on the fresh seasonal fruit, veggies, preserves, sourdough, pies, artisan cakes and handcrafted goods.

Wollundry Saturday Markets

When: Saturday 12 April, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Wollundry Lagoon, Civic Centre Precinct
Cost: Free.

Come along to the Wollundry Saturday Markets held around the beautiful Wollundry Lagoon in the heart of Wagga. Enjoy a walk around the lagoon and peruse the markets. With more than 30 stallholders, including a variety of food purveyors, fruit and vegetables, and homewares, there is much to choose from. There is plenty of room to relax and listen to local musicians while enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. While you’re there, maybe drop in a gold coin to help the Rotary club support the community.

Ladysmith Tourist Railway

When: Saturday 12 April, 10 am
Where: Ladysmith Railway Station, 15 Kyeamba Street, Wagga Wagga
Cost: All tickets $5.

Ladysmith is one of the few stations remaining on the old line. Visit the heritage station and museum, with trikes on display and available for rides on the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to 2 pm.

Special displays and exhibits have been set up in the precinct with many items on loan from Transport NSW including an Edmonston ticket punch machine, electric staff machines, document draws and a safe.

Ravioli Radicchio Rose

When: Saturday 12 April, 10:30 am to 3:30 pm
Where: Lot 3 Gordon Road, Yenda
Cost: $145 and booking can be made via Bella Vita.

Learn how to craft delicate, handmade ravioli from scratch, filled with a luscious combination of radicchio, ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano and other seasonal filings.

Sunday

Music in the Gardens Gusto Gusto

When: Sunday 13 April, 1 to 3 pm
Where: Albury Botanic Gardens
Cost: Free.

Gusto Gusto will be performing at Albury Botanic Gardens as part of a free open-air concert. Head down with family and friends on Sunday for a chilled-out afternoon. There will be food and drinks available for purchase or you can pack a picnic.

Junee Markets on the Green

Where: Junee Licorice Factory, 45 Lord Street

Easter Twilight Market

Hop into the Easter spirit at the Easter Twilight Market in Albury. There will be plenty of sweet treats, delicious food and unique market stalls. For the children there are free family-friendly activities such as face painting and games.
