More than 30 potential COVID-19 exposure sites have been listed across the Snowy Monaro today, Wednesday 6 October, with the majority of them in Jindabyne.
The list of venues visited by positive cases is being updated regularly on the NSW Health website, and includes the chairlifts at Perisher ski resort, as well as the Thredbo rental shop at the Valley terminal and a supermarket and shops in Cooma.

Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has been notified of 12 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8 pm last night. This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 302 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
Of the 12 new cases:
- Four are in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region. All are linked to known cases. Three are in Karabar. One is in Bungendore.
- Seven are in the Snowy Monaro region. Four are linked to known cases. All are in Jindabyne.
- One is in Goulburn and is linked to known cases.
There has been just one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District to 8 pm.
The new case is a resident of Edward River LGA, is linked to a known case and is currently being cared for at Wagga Base Hospital.
Sadly, Murrumbidgee Local Health District is reporting the death of one person with COVID-19 – a woman in her 70s, with serious underlying health issues, died in a Melbourne Hospital after being transferred from Deniliquin Hospital.
There are no new venues associated with any known cases. Any new venues of concern will be listed here as soon as they are known.
NSW recorded 594 new cases in the reporting period to 8 pm last night with 10 deaths, including a person in their 40s. NSW has now hit a first dose figure of 88.6 per cent of eligible people aged 16 or over and 67.7 per cent are fully vaccinated.
