Four men have been arrested and charged following an operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) members and associates across the Riverina.
Police said Raptor Squad South detectives carried out the operation from 18 to 20 July in Griffith and Wagga Wagga.
Riverina Police District officers and Raptor Squad detectives executed multiple search warrants across Wagga in Boorooma, Mount Austin, The Rock and Tolland following investigation into reports of alleged assault and intimidation, on 18 July.
Police allege the four men aged 32, 39, 40 and 41 arrested had links to the Mongols OMCG.
The 40-year-old man was taken to Tumut Police Station, where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm, affray, participate in a criminal group, and common assault.
Police took the remaining men to Wagga Wagga Police Station where they were charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm, affray, and participate in a criminal group.
They were all refused bail and appeared at Wagga Wagga Local Court on 19 July 2023.
Later that day, Raptor Squad officers conducted six firearm prohibition order (FPO) compliance checks across Lake Wyangan and Griffith, targeting alleged Bandidos OMCG members and associates.
