Shows, shows and even more shows. Wagga is the place to be this weekend and shows are the talk of the town, whether it be music, dance, comedy or even LEGO – the watercooler talk next week will be about which show you saw.
For some keen theatre goers, the Civic Theatre will be their second home this week as every day there is another brilliant act, starting with the Riverina Dance Festival, in which some of the region’s best public school dancers get their opportunity to shine.
It continues on Saturday and Sunday with the Robertson Brothers showcasing their wide variety of musical talent with their 60s tribute show. Then starting on Thursday, The Wagga Comedy Fest kicks off with the Great Wagga Comedy Fest Debate.
If the King of Rock and Roll is more your vibe, Tilly’s is the place for you Friday night as Anthony Petrucci brings his world-famous Elvis impersonation to the stage, so be sure to slip on your blue suede shoes and book your tickets now.

Wagga Wagga Brick Show 2023

Cost: $10 per person, $45 for family of five, under three years – free.
Playwell Events return to Wagga with more than 60 tables worth of their best LEGO builds and designs for this year’s Wagga Wagga Brick Show. Visitors to this year’s show can expect to see lots of different models as well as a couple of their more popular models from last year. The Riverina Dance Festival is an event for public schools across the Riverina and beyond. The festival promotes dance education by engaging students by offering a performance opportunity to schools in a professional setting. Showcasing students from Kindergarten to Year 12, each performance will display the passion, skills and creativity of students and teachers as they explore the art of dance.

A show not to be missed for any Elvis Presley fan! Anthony Petrucci is a world-renowned Elvis tribute artist from Melbourne, who at the age of 20 made his first national television appearance on Channel 9’s Star Struck portraying Elvis Presley and went on to win the competition allowing him to perform in one of the longest running tribute shows in existence, the world-famous Legends In Concert at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. Now in Wagga, Anthony will make you think you’re watching Elvis live in person.

Somewhere between Wagga Wagga and Coolamon in the southwest of New South Wales is arguably one of the best preserved old-time community halls in the state. Kicking off the Wagga Comedy Fest, the debate is one of the hottest tickets at the festival and promises to deliver an evening of laughs.
