There are plenty of things going on around the Riverina this weekend and leading up to Valentine’s Day.

We’ve got some romantic and fun suggestions for you that you can do with your partner over the weekend and next week to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Book a romantic dinner at Cottontail Wines Restaurant, go to the outdoor movies at Coolamon, or head to Calabria Family Wines for lunch. You could spend Valentine’s Day doing something different by drawing your date.

For the art connoisseurs in the region, the Archibald Prize Regional Tour will be shown at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery for the next six weeks.

Pastorale by Meccanico is hosting a Drag and Dine lunch for people to get their glitter and groove on with great food and music.

Toot-toot! The Ladysmith Tourist Railway is back in action with a special opening this Saturday.

Archibald Prize 2022 Regional Tour

Where: Wagg Wagga Art Gallery, Morrow Street, Wagga
Cost: Free.

The prestigious Archibald Prize will call Wagga Wagga home for the next six weeks, showcasing 52 artworks by some of Australia’s most talented artists. The winning artist Blak Douglas will be at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery to give the opening address.

Drag and Dine at Pastorale!

Get your drag on at Pastorale for a fabulous time in the sunny courtyard. Five drag queens and kings will be putting on a great show while you indulge yourself with delicious tapas and glittery drinks.

Ladysmith Tourist Railway is finally open to the public again. Head down to one of the few stations remaining on the old line with your family for the special opening on Saturday.

2023 V8 Superboats Championship – Griffith Jet Boats

When: Saturday 11, 12 pm to 9 pm
Where: Lake Wyangan, Lakes Road, Griffith
Cost: Adult $30, Child (6-16) $10, Pensioners $25, Family (Two adults, two children) $70, Under six is free. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Australian Formula Jet Sprint Association is bringing the 2023 V8 Championships to Griffith this weekend. Head down to the lake with your chairs, pop-up tents and picnic rugs for a great day at the lake. Buses will run from the Griffith Tourism Hub (Visitor’s Centre) to the circuit on the hour, every hour from noon until 9 pm.

Rose Summer Session
