Who are you and what is your business? Heidi Kennett and in our Four Mile Farm we produce pasture-raised eggs.
Where did you begin? We started just after COVID.
What do you produce? Pasture-raised eggs and goat soap. I milk the goat and a lady in Albury makes the soap for me.
Where can we buy your products? At the Riverina Producer’s Markets every Thursday, IGA Wagga on Bourke Street, cafes at Tumbarumba and Holbrook.
What should we buy for gifts this Christmas? We have a variety of goat soaps … about 12 different scents and we also have a new shampoo bottle. They always make good gifts.
What’s your favourite product that you make? French red clay soap.
What would you make if you could do anything? Farming is everything we want to do; if I could make anything I’d continue what I’m making.
How would you promote the Riverina? There’s such a variety. We are so lucky here to have the grass-fed meats and pasture-raised chicken. We’ve got so much food here that is readily fresh.
What’s your favourite coffee spot? That would be Pot and Kettle in Wagga.
Coolest local thing you’ve ever bought? Sarah’s bread (from Primal Alternatives).
Who is another local producer you admire? Brad’s chicken (Canowindra Farms). I know how much work they do. To do intense farming takes so much work.
What do you want for Christmas? Dry weather so we can harvest and have the family together.
