The Riverina is buzzing with a bunch of fun events this week, with plenty of stock events, festivals, sports days, live music and plays.
Leeton’s Show returns this year with a two-day extravaganza of culture, showmanship, agriculture, arts, crafts and exhibitions.
Swan Lake is reimagined as a circus spectacular in Duck Pond, with plenty of acrobatics coming to the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre for one night only.
Griffith’s Multicultural Festival turns Memorial Park into a celebration of the many cultures and peoples that call the Riverina home, with plenty of food stalls, song and dance, traditional costumes and the classic flag ceremony.

Battle on the Bidgee Stockmans Challenge

The Battle on the Bidgee Stockmans Challenge turns the banks of the Murrumbidgee River into a playground for Australia’s best stockmen and stockwomen.
For the first two days, stock handling, packhorse, whip cracks, dry work patterns, bareback obstacle, horseshoeing and cross country riding take centre stage.
While the third day of the challenge has wild horse catch, poley buck jump, working cow horse events, time trials and steer catches – all alongside live entertainment and kids’ activities.
